The Portico Gallery is a unique creative space in West Norwood. We will be hosting a community meal with local artists on hand to help children create a junk modelled mandala which will be displayed afterwards in the gallery, plus more arts and crafts.
Our neighbours Southside Catering (part of Southside Rehabilitation Association) will be serving a barbecue with salads, drinks and vegetarian options. More menu details to follow soon.
The Portico Gallery is a ‘Not for Profit’, aesthetic, inspirational and welcoming community gallery, It began as a vast hall built in 1885 as the first and original West Norwood public hall. It has hosted theatrical productions and musicals, and Walworth-born Charlie Chaplin performed here.

Feast's Food Week is returning in June 2017, and this year we are teaming up with Station to Station: West Norwood and Tulse Hill Business Improvement District for a series foodie events at your favourite West Norwood and Tulse Hill venues. We are celebrating all things cultural, creative and artistic, so if it's poetry, art, storytelling or dance that catches your eye, come and join us!
The week is powered by West Norwood Feast, the monthly community-run market, and Station to Station: West Norwood and Tulse Hill Business Improvement District. Our aim is to showcase many of the great eateries that West Norwood and Tulse Hill now have to offer.
