THE WATER HOUSE PROJECT AT CHRISTMAS

Why Join the Table?

Five Michelin-quality dishes in the chef's own home!

This isn't just another Pop-up, it's a Pop-in.

The ethos behind Gabriel Waterhouse's new venture is simplicity; less is more.

By day he chefs in some of London's best restaurants but by night welcomes diners into his modest Bethnal Green home for a more informal experience.

Includes five courses and an aperitif on arrival.

In a Nutshell

In 2015 Gabriel Waterhouse left the grand surrounds of Michelin-starred Galvin La Chapelle with the aim of making fine dining accessible. He bought a table from Ikea and began welcoming diners into his modest Bethnal Green home for a more informal culinary experience.

The Whole Hog

Since then The Water House Project has hosted thousands of hungry diners, been featured in TimeOut and Monocle magazine, and was awarded 'Top 5 London supper club' status by The Evening Standard. He has had to buy a second table.

Food is good but the menu is a little bit repetitive. Also, a couple of courses were not those shown in the menu from the website, and they were both substituted by dishes made with much cheaper ingredients. The flat is nice, but the venue isn't that impressive tbh
