Sylvia is the head chef at the 5 star Sri Lankan catering company Sri L Catering. Born and raised in Sri Lanka, she has over 30 years experience in the hospitality industry starting her career in Australia training as a chef and working at some of the top hotels in Sydney. Then moving Sri Lanka to gain experience in her home country learning the true artisan techniques used in Sri Lankan cooking.
All the recipes used in her catering business are passed down through the generations.

Our grub clubs are designed to allow guests to experience truly authentic Sri Lankan cooking cooked using traditional methods and techniques and presented beautifully, incorporating Sri Lankan elements such as hessian rope and banana leafs.

Our waiters and waitresses are dressed in beautiful Sri Lankan garments. Our venues are decorated in Sri Lankan arts and crafts adding to the atmosphere and bringing a touch of Sri Lanka to London and allowing our guests to experience and learn about Sri Lankan food and culture.
