Why Join the Table?

A Diner’s Wonderland – Arrive to the sounds of the 1970s juke box and enjoy bottomless booze, followed by a 3 course brunch accompanied by live music. Obligatory dessert and free refills included!!

Brunch - not quite breakfast, not quite lunch – has been greatly improved by the addition of free refills on daytime-appropriate bubbly and cocktails. The boozy brunch has snuck its way into the cultural routine for big-city living, now fortnightly on Saturday at The Elmore Jam, this time delivered by Hana from Pickled Plates who celebrates creative, seasonal British food, all locally and responsibly sourced.

The Elmore Jam's resident father (Nick) & daughter (Ro) team have backgrounds in show production and design, as well as hospitality. Being the entertainment office...

Just a few - NAME DROPPER! See you soon.

The Whole Hog

The Elmore Jam started out as a unique supper in the home of Nick Atkins on Elmore Street, right on the Hackney / Islington border. His supper clubs always included live music, mostly a jazz trio making things very lively while a carousel of tremendously diverse and innovative chefs served excellent food. Creating a social stage to meet new people was an important ingredient and very often his open and inviting home full of artwork and music business memorabilia presented a ‘through the keyhole’ experience that would stimulate conversation with gourmet food presenting center stage under some very hot stage lamps. Being the entertainment officer has always come easily to Nick, he loves hosting.

As Nick’s home is currently unavailable a new version of the Jam is being created. We have teamed up with Chef Ryan Smith, one of New York's most popular food and wine experts, who also enjoys creating what he calls “alternative dining experiences”. This ambitious duo are offering pop up events in the shape of private parties, fine dining, wine tastings and many other experiences where our characteristic warm hospitality will make you feel at home and music will still be one of the main ingredients.

Really lovely ambience - the jukebox and live band were a great touch. Unlimited cocktails are always a treat as well! Food was unique and excellently prepared. Would recommend.

What a lovely, civilised way to spend on a Saturday brunch. We enjoyed the food, served out in the courses, the love jazz band with their engaging musicians, and the company.
