In a Nutshell

The Dressing Room tosses the traditional salad to the side, stabs Caesar in the back, checks out of the Waldorf and pops up in East London.

The Whole Hog

A tasty rebuttal to the idea that salads are solely for the health conscious, The Dressing Room serves filling and delicious dishes full of inventive textures, with an emphasis on the dressing. The clue is in the name. Everything comes with DIY dressings for the diner to complete the dish themselves.

The Dressing Room's seasonal menu is an inspired twist on Salmagundi, a hearty, 17th century English dish of meats, seafood, vegetables, leaves, fruits, nuts, flowers and dressings.

Everything terrific. Only v slight problem was food a bit slow arriving so had to miss pudding cos had to leave to drive home - after 11 ... But a very minor observation to a great night well done all

Every course was a taste explosion

I loved every single course of the menu and the wine choices were excellent!!! My favourite course was the duck strips and paté and the lamb was beautiful too! I really liked the combination of tastes, sweet and savoury, soft and crispy. Great finish to the meal was the saffron ice cream with an elderflower sorbet and almonds - hmmmm! The atmosphere, service and music were really nice and relaxed. I felt super comfortable while eating amazing food without the stuck up environment you sometimes get for that high level of dining.

Awesome food
