Professional chefs Katie and Emma met in New York, brought together by a passion for good quality ingredients and sustainable practices. When they were reunited in London, they wanted to make their own contribution to the incredible efforts of the #cookforSYRIA campaign.

The Whole Hog

Two chefs from New York’s Blue Hill at Stone Barns and London’s food-waste banquet series ‘wastED’ are researching, testing and finally cooking a series of unique, Syrian-inspired pop-up dinners at Hackney's beautiful Well Street Kitchen, with 100% of the profits going to UNICEF's #cookforSYRIA campaign.

True to our passions, the dinner will be created using the best seasonal and local ingredients around, with recipes inspired by the stories, recipes and culinary traditions of the Syrian people.

Expect to feast on a delicious dinner that opens your eyes to the incredible richness of Syrian cuisine, its many traditions and broad-ranging influences.
Expect to meet like-minded people who love food and want to affect global change.
Expect to leave with with a smile on your face and a square of homemade babka to remember us by!
