Riverford Master Veg

Guy Watson started growing organic veg in 1986 on his family farm in Devon and set up the vegbox scheme in 1993, delivering to 20 local friends and family. We do a lot more deliveries now, but the ethos and principles have remained the same. We’re just as passionate about growing vegetables as we are about cooking and eating them. You’ll see this at the our London pub, the Duke of Cambridge and the Field Kitchen, our restaurant on the farm.

The Whole Hog

Are you Veg Nerds like us? Keen to eat more veg? We’ve created a two-hour, hands on cooking classes to get you inspired and try out a Riverford veg box. Together we’ll turn a brimming box of veg, fresh from our farm into an inspirational organic feast. You’ll get stuck in, learning lots of essential skills – such as the best way to slice greens and segment citrus, and how to make sure your onions never catch in the pan. It’s very relaxed – people of all abilities are welcome, and class sizes are kept small so there’s lots of opportunity for questions and individual guidance. After the class, we’ll all sit down to enjoy the meal over a glass of organic wine or beer.
Spaces cost £25, including an organic meal and drink.
