Olly's Turkish Gourmet



I am Olly, the classic Turkish guy. I have a deep-rooted passion and desire for food and culture, especially eating and feeding people. The aim is to introduce to people a wider range of the Turkish cuisine that goes beyond the well-known kebab. I come from a background of food caterers and restaurateurs, during my all my college years I worked at the family business starting as a porter and working up to eventually become a sous chef with my dad (HeadChef at Meze Mangal).

In a Nutshell

The Whole Hog

The Black Sea Tradition is by far the best way to describe not only our dishes but our hospitality, we love feeding people its our nature. As the chefs for the night are all family members (Mum & Dad), the food is made with alot of love and passion, with the skills being passed down from generation to generation. Normally, we don't serve our dishes by courses, we allow everyone to help themselves like it was a feast. So we want to bring this type of experience to the table. Alot of the ingredients we use are sourced locally.
