Embark on an interactive night of creative fine dining experience with Top Michelin-trained chefs in a casual, laid back setting!
Danesfield House, Galvin at Windows, Vijante, Maze Gordon Ramsay.
These are just a few of the restaurants where Cuisson’s chefs have honed their craft.
We have now focused all our energy on curating an evening of stripped back fine dining in the heart of central London.
Start the night with a signature Cuisson cocktail, mix and mingle a bit before you sit back and enjoy the interactive dining experience as we plate up the 7 courses right in front of you. We may even ask for your help in plating up and adding the finishing touches to the dishes (if you want, of course!)
Specially selected bottles of wine at afford able shall be available on the night, designed to match their dishes, and you never know there may be a little treat in store for you!

Delicious food but not a great venue when there were so few of us!
A good night with friends, interesting food and great views.
Having pored through the comments, this was the best option for the only date our group could muster. As per previous posted comments though, the room was cold, but spacious (not Cuisson's building - said they'd tried but failed before on the heating front). The wine is a minimum of £25, which should be made clear for budgetary purposes when listed. Was good, but wouldn't have normally gone for a bottle that expensive. Seems like those comments haven't been taken on board. However, the food was amazing. A riot of flavours and textures, all with an Asian twist. We thought we may be grazing and going home hungry, but the main (2 courses combined) did the trick. Yes, you can plate up (not really a draw for all) but chatting to the chefs was a laugh. Better venue and music please!
The food was outstanding! The venue was beautiful but there was a problem with the heating, so we had to dine at 17 degrees with our coats on. It was absolutely freezing! The staff apologised and gave us a discount on drinks as a goodwill gesture, but it was difficult to enjoy the evening and we were tempted to leave half away through. It was just way to cold!
The venue was interesting however it was a bit cold but the service was great
thanks for a great and intimate night
Food is good but nothing special or amazing.Service is not the most friendly on earth. Cheapest red bottle of wine is 25£. Dining room is not heated.
We had a fantastic time at POPdown, the food was delicious and the chefs were so friendly and informative. We especially liked being able to join in and help put together some of the dishes
Quality food and some really talented chefs on show whose personality shone with their creations. Highly recommended!
The food was very good and service slick. However, we were packed onto a long bench with v little room, elbow to elbow with strangers who didn't really talk to us.
Really lovely staff, nice central venue, great that they buy all the stuff from Borough Market and tell you where they got everything from on the menu! But on the downside it's quite pricey for what you get (restaurant prices, but not really restaurant food/booze quality) and quite noisy. This was my second experience at Popdown and although both were fun, I think I'll look elsewhere next time, but if this is your first GrubClub and you want a professional, fun and engaging experience, I'd recommend it.
Another great event by Cuisson! This team continues to impress with great food. We loved the interactive format, and the plating in front of diners. We took some friends and they enjoyed the food and the venue. Great location and great views of the church. Looking forward to coming back soon!
The food was good, but overall I was underwhelmed, particularly by the atmosphere. The room feels rather cavernous, with two strips of tables sitting in the middle of it. These are cramped with the acoustics of the large space making it difficult to hear and be heard. In case you think from the description that the evening starts with a free cocktail it doesn't. That's fine but the description isn't clear enough. The wine list isn't particularly reasonable, contrary to what is stated - unless the first option for a bottle of red at £25 is seen as reasonable by most.
Incredible food, delicious wine and brilliant service - awesome night!
Excellent food a bit more thought on the seating arrangements . The only single person was put on the end of the table facing nobody . A slight rearrangement of the chairs could easily have avoided that. Otherwise a very enjoyable evening
The food was amazing!!! Perfect balance of flavours and portion sizes. So many foods I normally don't like, but despite that, found every bite to be delicious!
Delicious food - In particular BBQ cucumber.
Food was great, staff were great. Only downside was the acoustics in the venue - pretty noisy
Exceptional beef and salmon dishes. A satisfying and delicious five course menu!
Great evening spent celebrating my dads birthday. Great to see the chefs in action and prepare such fantastic food.
Atmosphere was very noisy and service very slow. Some of the courses were excellent such as the beef sashimi but the pacing was just so slow.
Awesome food - perfect birthday present!
Would have been good to know that there was a bar available as well.
Loved my first experience of GrubClub. I particularly liked seeing the food prepared and chatting to the chefs. Food was fab and interesting too!
Excellent evening - great food, great value.
Fantastic food in a convivial ambience. Highly recommended as a superb night out as a couple or with a group of friends.
Great dinner, great company, great venue! Loved it!
Great venue. Good food and staff.
Took my family. Simply incredible food, atmosphere, friendly, welcoming, easy, engaging and an experience to remember!
A fun night with some superb food served in an interactive and friendly atmosphere. The chefs were constantly on hand to enthusiastically explain their menu and how they cooked it.Thoroughly enjoyable.
Such a brilliant night!! I took my boyfriend there for his birthday and we both loved it- both got involved helping plate up which was so much fun and the chefs were happy to talk about the food and how it was made. Staff were extremely attentive and table service during the pre dinner cocktails was spot on. Quirky venue was the perfect setting and friendly people at our table to chat to. In the pic it looked like you would be seated on two long tables but I really like how intimate the setting was with the tables broken down. Perfect evening. If I really had to be picky I would say perhaps a bit more butter for the bread (I could have eaten an entire loaf as it was so delicious) and maybe a bigger kick to the cocktails but that really finding the smallest fault in what was a very memorable evening. Thank you to the whole team. Amazing concept so hope it comes back soon as I think it finishes soon
Great concept and location but we found the food was disappointing. The menu sounded very interesting but the food did not meet expectations. Cocktails were AMAZING and I am not a natural cocktail drinker so big thumbs up for that! Staff were also fantastic. Go for the experience but not for the food.
Superb from start to finish. Chefs were amazingly approachable, and the food was fantastic.
The venue was cool, but that is unfortunately where the positives end. (1) The event was supposed to start at 7pm, with 'doors open' at 5pm. However, we did not get any food until about 8.30pm. I found out (because I asked) that food was never due to be served until 8pm: so we were lied to. It is clearly part of the business model to get you there early to buy overpriced cocktails. If I was made to wait 1hr30 in any restaurant I would walk out. (2) The main ingredient had changed on 3 out of 4 of the courses. This is not OK when the menu is set, and was published in advance. Many people may have decided to come on the basis of the menu. (3) The food was mediocre. The bread and dessert were enjoyable, but the rest was only passable. Portion sizes varied hugely: my meat and fish courses were about 1/2 the size of some other peoples (a big faux-pas in any place pretending to serve haute-cuisine). The vegetables were hard and undercooked; the 'beef tea' looked and tasted like watery stock (meat sauces are supposed to be intense, reduced flavours, not water). (4) One of the sous-chefs came round at the end of the courses giving people two thumbs-up, with a big grin on his face. This stunk of arrogance from a chef whose time would have been better spent in the kitchen. (5) Patchy service: we waited 15 minutes longer than some other people for our bread (and only got it when we got up as asked). My girlfriend and I were not the only disappointed ones. The couple across us were also complaining, as was the woman next to me. (When one of the courses arrived, she exclaimed "I cannot eat this!").
Highly recommend! A unique and fun experience for all food lovers. I loved the interactive nature of the evening- we very much enjoyed how you could help plate up and the chefs were very eager to answer any questions. I loved the cocktails that had been tailored to complement each course, don't miss these! My only criticism in an otherwise faultless evening was that the chocolate pudding was far too rich for me, it's only suitable for proper chocaholics! Would definitely return.
The food was excellent -creative, great balance between texture and taste and something for the eyes too. You can notice the chefs are Michelin-trained. Nice concept of dining on large tables so you can chat with your neighbours, and great to be able to talk to the very friendly chefs as well. It was also our first time at the Vaults and it's definitely worth discovering! All in all we had a great evening, book it!
Great food and great atmosphere! Highly recommended for a special night
The venue was ideal, loved the decor and ambience. Wish we'd known about the great bar, we would have arrived earlier. The dining area was unbearably hot and this spoiled the evening. Also the tables were so wide it was difficult to speak to our friends sat opposite.
Lots of fun
Can't get enough of this. Excellent food, the brussels sprouts dish was my favourite.
This was soooo much better than I expected. A great interactive experience, where your invited up to speak with the chefs and even help them plate up. The food was imaginative and really tasty & most importantly arrived hot at the table - no mean feat when they are plating up for around 50 -60 people all at once. Quirky venue, nice people and definitely worth the money. Highly recommend
An amazing, and different, way to spend my birthday! Thanks for the fantastic dining experience!
Lovely food, very friendly, great staff, felt Very well cared for and incredible Cocktails.
Amazing food but ambience was a little trying as we took our parents and probably for suited to the hipsterish crowd. Fine and great for us maybe not the best for an older crowd
My first Popdown and I'm already looking forward to the next one! The food was absolutely sublime and the cocktails delicious, although I have been left with a rather sore head.
Some interesting dishes and a lively and unusual venue made this a good night out. Being able to talk to the team and watch the dishes being assembled is a nice touch.
Dessert was very unusual, a bit savoury for my liking. All dishes Where Brilliantly executed though
Great food, and wonderful experience! We loved it.
Great food, extremely friendly and personal service and enjoyed the interactivity. Cocktails were exceptionally good, as was the wine chosen.
Get down to this pop up if you can. The flavours were AMAZING, the location is great and the chefs really do want to talk with you. It truly is interactive!
I had an amazing experience at POPdown. The pre-dinner cocktails in the bar area were wonderful, and I highly recommend arriving slightly early to take advantage of the bar. I loved being able to see the kitchen as the chefs prepped for the evening and also really enjoyed watching the chefs plate the food for each course. It was a great opportunity to ask questions, take great pictures and appreciate the food a bit more. In addition to great food, the service was also delightful.
Really liked helping to plate.
A brilliant night out with top food and really friendly staff. Great to see the food get plated and I even got to help!
Loved it but am still hungry
A great night! The chefs were extremely friendly and we were able to get very involved with the plating of the dishes. Most of the food was delicious, however the mackerel was undercooked, and not our favourite. But the rest was amazing, and we were pleasantly surprised by the yummy cabbage dish. Would definitely recommend and go again in a heartbeat. The value for money is AMAZING!
Fun evening. Amazing food. Recommend.
It was an absolutely fantastic night - we were celebrating my boyfriends 30th. All the hosts/chefs were very friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing and although there were bits here and there which the chefs are still working on it was great getting to understand the concept behind all the plates. I particularly enjoyed getting to pop the garnish on top. I will definitely be recommending this on to others. Thanks to everyone involved for making it such a fun evening. I took home a very happy, slightly drunk, birthday boy at the end of it
Great food and fun attitude
Brilliant. 100% recommend
Great value evening with great food
Loved the athmosphere and the location (very central). Loads of fun meeting and chatting to other people sitting next to us. The food was outstanding and it was so much fun to take part in the preparation! It made us realise how hard it is to plate beautiful plates...you could tell so much the difference between the dishes plated by the chefs and those plated by the guests! Really really lovely evening overall.
Welcoming, adventurous and interesting. We had a lovely evening. Thank you.
Great event, amazing stuff, awesome food
Cocktails, drinks and service were all perfect. The food was a bit hit and miss-some courses worked, others didn't. They all looked amazing, but some of them looked better than they tasted. One course (quinoa with egg yolk) had very little flavour. The main course however (salmon, cauliflower rice, red curry) was amazing. I would go again, and recommend, just go with an open mind that some courses might be a bit 'too' experimental.
Amazing night of interactive food and company. Undeniable value. Do it. You know you want to.
Enjoyable night with creative delicious food!
Brilliant creative menu.
Amazing food, great dining companions, and a chance to watch (and even help!) everything be plated before the next course. A foodie's dream come true! Thank you so much for the stellar evening.
Great night. Loved the fact you can talk to the chefs who explain how they cooked each dish.
Great night out! Met some lovely people too and the Chefs were very friendly and interesting to talk to. thoroughly recommend!
Brilliant concept! And thank you for being accommodating with dietary requirements
What a great night out. Amazing food. Lovely relaxed environment. Fun and fascinating conversations with the chefs.
Great atmosphere and friendly chefs. The food was delicious with interesting flavours.
Really liked the chef's invitation to "get interactive" and gather round the food prep table, learn about each dish, and even help assemble the dishes, if you wanted to.
The chefs and team were all lovely, had a great time, recommended for a different kind of dinner-night!
It was fantastic. we loved it. loved the setup, food and most of all the people. The chefs were great to chat to and literally cant wait for the next one.
Great experience, met some lovely people and the food was fantastic. Small disappointment with the dessert but overall the dishes were delicious. The chefs create an atmosphere to share their passion and background which you don't get in any restaurant.
The food was fantastic! talking to the friendly chefs and hearing and seeing the details of how the dishes were prepared was an excellent experience
This is the second time I've been to POPdown and I will definitely be going back again. The food is out of this world, and the surprise courses will please everyone. I have no idea how they make it so good with such little apparatus. I'd recommend this to anyone who loves a good night out and exquisite food!
Lovely evening, we enjoyed the food, the location, the kindness of the host.
It was a great night, food was delicious and chefs insightful and friendly. I'd love to go again
Food was nice, especially the cucumber buttermilk, really fresh and delicate. The potato salad with burnt hay was really interesting. The only course I didn't like was the desert, it wasn't as described on the menu and instead was a clumsy, tasteless chocolate pudding with berries, lemon, cream, hazelnuts, watermelon sorbet and avocado ?!? Too many things going on!!! Setting was informal which was nice, but not really unique or particularly interesting.
Suberb - food was excellent, definitely worth going back several more times
Great evening thanks
It was incredibly good. My first one from grubclub. The food was exquisite, the atmosphere fantastic and the chefs were really great. Friendly, informative and great to talk with. Will definitely come again!!!
This was my first and i thought it was a nice evening. Thanks! :)
Overall lovely experience and great food. Like the fact we could talk to the chefs and see them plate up! Highly recommendable and friendly staff.
Had a wonderful experience at Popdown. Focus was on food, heightened by great staff, nice environment, tasty wines and chat with the chefs. A must!
The hosts were attentive; introduced each of the 3 deserts - one at a time - and added finishing touches right in front of us, which was entertaining.
I was amazed at the passion and the attention to detail of the chef. The desserts exuded flavour, and were light on the stomach, so the experience was indulgent and ephemeral. The service was very friendly and I felt very 'catered to'. I'd definitely want to come again and recommend it to others who want a zing in their dining experience.
Amazing experience and food
Great food, great wine and pleasant company. Whole evening very entertaining.
Amazing experience, I cant wait to come to the new concept!!
The food was great, and really imaginative/different, and the chef and his team were really friendly and engaging. We had a great evening, and we'll definitely be back!
The food was fantastic, the staff really friendly and informative and the atmosphere in the venue made everyone feel at ease. Great experience!
Our first ever grub club event and we couldn't have asked for a better choice. Food was tasty and creative, whilst the staff were friendly and knowledgable. Top marks to the team for making it a great experience
This was some of the best food ever tasted the brûlée was sensational the staff we're all really friendly and knowledgeable can't wait to go again Thank you
Chef Pedro amazed us all with his creativity. My eyes have truly opened up to experimental cooking and fine dining. This is the most interesting menu I've ever experienced, the explosion of flavours and the curious ingredients came together so nicely. I'm still smiling from a fantastic evening. Bravo, Cuisson! Looking forward to your next event.
I kind of want to keep it quiet but I feel honour-bound to let folks know that this is just a slice of perfection. The food was not only unique in style and composition but in being the best versions of some dishes I've ever had. And charming chefs. Fun to talk to.
Lovely food, good atmosphere, loved the interactive nature of the evening and the cooking tips (who doesn't love cooking tips, even if my dish may not turn out as what I ate in Friday).
Excellent food, great to chat with the chefs
Fab little hidden gem! Superb food and great to have each course explained by the chefs who created them. I'm loathed to share this with my friends for fear of never being able to find a free booking for myself 😉 Thanks to all for a wonderful, interactive evening.
Enjoyed interacting with the chefs. A really nice evening in great company.
Loved trying the inventive and tasty food. The chefs were lovely and really interesting to be able to chat to them and provide feedback on the dishes. Would definitely go again!
This was the first time I have been to one of these evenings. I thought it would be interesting and fun, and I was not disappointed! The food was amazing -I would never have tried some of the dishes if I had to choose them off a menu (such as injecting a raw egg yolk with a hot beef consomme) but it was a revelation, and I would certainly order it now! I also loved the enthusiastic involvement of the chefs...they genuinely wanted to know our thoughts and looked really pleased when we liked their cooking. I am already scanning my diary in order to book another evening, and will be recommending it to friends (but not too many, as I want to make sure I get a place!).
Excellent, loved it!
Great food in a great location, really fun evening.
It was a really different way to spend a Saturday night wth friends. The food was delicious and friends were very friendly and accommodating
AWESOME food, great to chat to the chefs. Would highly recommend.
Great fun event, the description on here doesn't really do it justice.
I came on my own and was greeted by a pleasant atmosphere. Food was interesting And certain foods were very interesting such as egg and mushroom. Since been to Spain fir wine tastings so am bit hazy but really a very pleasant evening. Would repeat. June v
This was our second supper club with L'atelier de Cuisson and we can't wait for the next one. The Japanese menu (with a Swedish twist) was well balanced, diverse and simply delicious. The interaction with all three chefs, who spent a lot of time at the table with their guests, continues to make this supper club a Must Try. We'll be watching the space for the next one.
Amazing food - high standard and I felt it was good value for money too. Would love to eat all 6 courses again
This was amazing food made by very passionate people! I was there with some friends who have never been to a supper club before and what an introduction they had. The food was stellar! The three chefs made the evening very interactive and had set up a serving table to assemble every dish in front of us, they also made a point of coming around to every guest to serve and explain each dish. The venue is very central just off Piccadilly Circus. We liked it so much that we are coming back next week for the Makoto dinner. This one is not to be missed!
Our first experience of Grub Club and it was great. Lovely to be able to see and chat with the chefs and discuss their food as it was served. BYO wine option made the evening fun and cost effective.
Absolutely loved it. The food, the service, the ambience and setting. Great that it was a limited group.
Interesting experience, definitely the chef's table, set up in the heart of their kitchen space. It took some searching and phone calls to Liv but we got there in the end. It's BYOB despite what the info says and there is a big fridge to cool your wine or beer but nowhere nearby to get some if you forget! Food was nice japanese but perhaps lacked the innovation that Grub Club is known for and a little heavy on the spring onion. My guests eat japanese a fair bit, so things like Macha panacotta were not particularly new or different and the twists weren't particularly special although the tasty and nicely presented. That being said we did enjoy the close proximity of the chef which was nice and he gave a good bit of explanation. Everyone was very nice but all felt a bit stilted and definitely a 'test' kitchen experience.
Great Food, and lots of it. The sushi was fantastic of course, but our favourites were the salad with the variety of pickles, the noodle bowl, and the beef rolls that came with the most amazing and unusually tasting spinach. Would love to come again.
It was in a small cafe overlooking Highgate Wood that we ended up on Saturday night. We weren't too sure what we were in for, but we thought the combination of foods on our plates for each course worked really well. And the chocolate desert was just so divine I have to stop talking to savour.
Great place, amazing food! Chocolate heaven for dessert. Paul was super friendly and a great host.
This is what Grub Club is all about - a love of food, and a shared experience with people on both sides of the stove. Paul has such an encyclopaediac knowledge of food and wine, and shares that with you in his own home. I, for one, have already been haranguing Grub Club to set up another event. The dark chocolate truffle came with summer berries is the best dessert I've had in ten years, but that is still second fiddle to the overall experience if L'atelier. All the very best to Paul - this is one plucky Irishman who will go far.
We had a lovely time at Paul's, it was a fab experience! The tuna starter was very tasty and a really interesting idea, especially the granita (even if it was a tricky eat with my sensitive teeth). The scallop dish was a particular favourite too- the flavours worked beautifully together and the presentation was really nice. The addition of dehydrated scallop roe was a fantastic idea, and really added something unexpected to the dish - in a very good way. The two types of lamb both had lots of flavour and the pea puree with bean that accompanied it was delicious. In fact, the only area I have suggestions for is dessert. It was lovely but there seemed to be a bit too much of it (if that's ever possible). Also, it felt like it needed something sweeter in there to go up against the peanut, maybe a caramel sauce or something? All in all a lovely menu and very well executed!
The dinner was spectacular. Beautiful setting, amazing presentation and the food somehow even exceeded the environment. Melt-in-the-mouth Tuna tartare with a delicate and zingy light granita topping, rich and creamy yet somehow light pan fried scallops, delicious lamb and a fantastic banana pudding. And Paul makes you feel at home and welcomes anyone who wants to learn from him in the kitchen. Company was also great. Met some really interesting people and I didn't want the evening to end!
