The Whole Hog

Bao to the Bun...

what is it? well, it's a homage to asian style streetfood but.... entirely VEGAN!

why?

because tofu, mushroom and chive are nice Bao fillings at first but after your first few, they become rather samey and boring.

so, if you're a fan of Bao buns and are fed up by the lack of variety, Bao to the Bun is the dining experience for you!

you will feast on a three course street food inspired menu consisting of:

asian style nibbles to begin with

To start

Thai style vegan sweet potato 'fishcakes' with a sweet chilli dipping sauce

The main event-

Terryaki chickpea filled steamed bun topped with fresh coriander, crispy onions & vietnamese style pickle

Miso glazed roasted aubergine filled steamed bun topped with fresh coriander, sweetcorn and radish

all served with a Thai style salad

To end;

Mini chocolate freak cake with a salted caramel sauce
