Will and I are passionate about beautifully reared and lovingly prepared meat. We are both professional chefs, Will at Vinoteca and I am a freelance and outside catering chef (having tired of the restaurant lifestyle). In a nutshell, having grown up in very foodie homes in the U.K and South Africa, respectively, we love feeding people food that has integrity, food that people want to eat and food that is definitely more food than fuss. Asado embraces all these ideas.

The Whole Hog

Asado is a celebration of the beast we eat, a celebration of friends, a celebration of wine and a celebration of joy for celebration's sake!
Every Asado will focus solely on one animal, May's Asados are based on Spring Lamb, and we will be preparing various lesser-known cuts of the chosen animal, pairing them with moreish flavours and matching the dishes with delicious and carefully chosen wines.
